Gearbox with parallel axes designed and built in accordance to AGMA 2001 rules (American Gear Manufacturers Association) The gearbox is composed of two high quality cast iron (G25)-timing cases, steel (18NiCrMo5) gears complete with rectified contour helical toothing of AGMA 10 quality, to guarantee the maximum silence and efficiency. We use high quality bearings, which are largely dimensioned. The thrust bearing that supports the axial load of the extruder screw is fully dimensioned for a dynamic load of 863 KN. The gearbox has central lubrication system with hydraulic pump, filters and heat exchanger to assure constant working temperature and optimal sliding conditions of the bearings Feeding zone made of spheroidal graphite cast iron and water-cooled and fitted with nitrided bush. Barrel 55 L/D 30 Bi-metallic barrel with flanges for perfect coupling with the extrusion head. The barrel contains a nitrated steel bush, whose profile can be smooth or rifled according to the materials to be processed. The thermoregulation is divided in 5 independent temperature zones 1 (one) of which is controlled by a digital single alarm threshold thermoregulator, the remaining 4 by double alarm threshold thermoregulators with ceramic heater bands. Zone n.1 has an electro-hydraulic thermoregulation system with a manually adjustable valve, which guarantees the holding of the set temperature, so to obtain a better plasticization of the material. The remaining zones are cooled by means of electric fans connected to stainless steel air ducts, which can be easily opened to facilitate maintenance operations. The total heating power installed is 13.75 kW, the cooling power is 1.2 kW. A.C. motor 55 kW - built in accordance with IEC rules, IP 23 protection degree, F class insulation, complete with cooling fan, digital converter complete with diagnostic unit. Motor-gearbox coupling is effected without mechanical joint. BDL/55 screen changer, for the E 55 APL extruder, with lever operated sliding system. The screen-changer has two temperature-controlled zones, melt pressure and temperature probe. The extruder is also complete with pellet hopper with side gate for quick resin discharge. N.1 150 S/R ROTATING MONO LAYER EXTRUSION HEAD made out from single steel piece carefully machined, it has central feed for the resins which then feed concentric spiral mandrels machined to close tolerances to ensure uniform and constant melts flow There are 3 temperature control zones controlled with thermoregulators, complete with ammeters, 1 of which mounted in a box rotating with the head, the remaining are mounted on the main temperature control panel Total installed power is approx. 16 kW The head rotation, which makes on complete tour approx. every 6 minutes, is done by means of a chain transmission driven by moto-reducer The head is supplied complete with one 150-mm die set comprising of male/female parts, and is mounted on a base fitted with pivoting wheels which also acts as cooling ring feeder. N.1 AN 300/2 AIR COOLING RING With two air outlets with adjustable opening. Air intake to the ring from the feed tubes is by tangential fittings. The feed tubes are supplied with air by a distribution box fed by a 5.5 kW fan. The ring is fitted with air temperature and pressure indicator. N.1 RA ADJUSTABLE BUBBLE GUIDE UNIT made up of: Motorised vertical movement 4 sets of 8 bubble guide arms mounted on a load-bearing frame in toughened aluminium complete with 8 steel columns. The arms are curved and complete with Teflon rollers. Arm opening/closing system driven by actuator command of a servo controlled motor. The film layflat width is shown on a dial mounted on one of the 8 columns. N.1 FIXED COMPACT STRUCTURE WITH SINGLE STATION WINDER complete with: Haul off rollers powered by an A.C. motor complete with an encoder. The haul-off unit includes natural obece collapsing frames. Single surface winding station, driven by an A.C. motor, complete with chromed cylinder and rubber covered counter-cylinder with pneumatically controlled bucking pressure, with banana roller, metre-counter and equipped with levers for air shafts switching over. Tower complete with service platform, access stairs and aluminium idler rollers to guide the film onto the winder. Max. reel diameter 700 mm.
